Project: „Inferno, Purgatorio, Paradiso – 100 Graffiti per Dante“

The series is based on Dante’s Divine Comedia and comprises 100 works. Each of the 100 peaces (canti) is interpreted in an individual graffiti piece. The aim is to render the poetic journey through Inferno, Purgatorio, and Paradiso visible in a contemporary visual language, thereby opening up new ways of engaging with Dante’s work.

Reflection:
The series is conceived as a homage to Dante and at the same time as a bridge between past and present. It renders the Divine Comedia visible in a way that functions both in public space and within an exhibition context. It is particularly important to me that the works stand on their own, yet unfold a greater narrative power when experienced as a cycle.

The series is currently in the development phase; at present, 16 works have been completed, and two additional works are in progress. It is an ongoing process.
